to the Small Business Unit
The Small Business Unit is a part of the Asylm Seekers Resource Centre. It aims
to assist and support the cients of the ASRC who are interested in establishing their own small business. Many of
them have the necessary skills to help them run a successful small business. Unfortunately they lack the
knowledge and understanding of the Australian business sector do hinder their success.
Therefore in response to this need, the ASRC has established The Small Business Mentoring
Program. The program aims to enhance the clients’ knowledge and skills needed to establish or in running of their business
and to regain economic independence in the Australian environment.
